The Studio – Dance and Arts

The Studio – Dance and Arts is a resident dance school for young people, finding their new home in Studio1 in 2022. Opening in 2016, The Studio was inspired by creating a dance and arts school that valued individuality, community, creativity and artistry.

The Studio provides expert tuition to future generations of young dance artists. Our young artists are the creatives, makers and arts-conscious community members of the future. Enriched by the involvement of contemporary practitioners The Studio - Dance and Arts affirms teaching practices that are inclusive and inspiring. Studio teachers are up to date with latest safe-dance practices, teaching methodologies and are industry leaders or emerging artists of exceptional quality.

Studio1 supports like-minded small-business and community groups to access space and venue resources.

We are looking to house the following in our space:

Dancing for Aging and Elderly
Dance for all abilities
Book Clubs
Writers Circles
Music Teachers

For Term 1, 2022 we are reaching out to people to offer 10 weeks of in-kind access to space, moving onto 3, 6 or 12 month venue hire agreements. Contact us to view the venue and discuss the possibilities further.
